I HAVE A 1994 PONTIAC TRANSPORT.IT WILL NOT STAY RUNNING .WE HAVE REPLACED THE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR,STARTER,COIL...IF U PUT UR HAND DIRECTLY ABOVE THE BREATHER IT WILL STAY RUNNING AS LONG AS UR HAND IS THERE.THE SECOND U TAKE IT AWAY THE CAR DIES.AND WILL NOT RESTART UNLESS U DO THE SAME THING.PLEASE HELP

possibly a choke issue, take to a place like auto zone and have them check to see if there are any codes that need to be dealt with, if not, sounds like choke is not operating correctly, open to far, try to install a real good air filter, and maybe one that requires a light film of oil on filter this will allow it to pull air a bit harder, that might give basically the effect of having hand over breather, also check oxygen sensor and make sure all vacumn lines are connected correctly, but it is definatly getting too much air inflow.
