2000 chev silverado service 4 wheel drive keeps coming on , what do i do?

Do you ever use it at all? It is recommended that you engage the 4 wheel drive every so often to keep the parts lubricated and working. I would take it in and have it looked at, the sheer number of things it could be would be difficult to list.
