Formula for calculating area of a circle is
A = pi * r^2

value of pi = 3.14
radius r = 10 cm
putting values in the formula

A = 3.14 * 10^2
= 3.14 * 100
= 314

Formular for area of circle=pie*r^2.where, radius=10cm and pie =22/7 or 3.142.therefore(area of circle)=3.142*10^2 3.142*100=314.2cm
