Hello Anna, I have had two Laminectomy's. Repair of ruptured disc. I have been talking to people about backs since 1992. I am not a doctor. I have been told by many people that when you fuse your disc the pressure on the disc above and below soon has problems. Much of the question of putting hardware inside you has to do with your age. Most hardware only last around twenty years. I have heard the cage your asking about is a good option. Hang in there technolgy is getting more and more advanced...
