Black Smoke coming out of a 96 Ram Full Size Van

Question by RamVan96 Reward: 25 Pond Points + 10 Knowledge Tokens Status: Pending a resolution
I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 Full size van. 5.2 liters, V8.
Lately, it has been burning rich gas, using too much. Approximately, 4 weeks ago, the front oxygen sensor was replaced. After 3 weeks, black smoke was emitting from the exhaust, idiling very rough, and also the "check engine" light remains on when the vehicle is running.
What I have done is: changed both oxygen sensors within the last 6 months.
Replaced new spark plugs and spark plug wires
Put in a new map sensor.
Changed the catalytic converter.
Cleaned the injectors.
Changed the fuel pump, filter, gage
I have had this vehicle from the beginning. All of the maintainance has been done by the dealership.
I need to know what is going on with my vehicle, as it is the only way I have to go to work and also the my only mode of transportation.
Thank You.
