How does a child proximity alarm work?

The transmitter is attached to the child with Velcro or put in his pocket. If the child wanders beyond the distance it is set for such as 15-25 feet range for example, the receiver that stays the parent will sound an alarm.
It can be used also on any object to be checked if taken away.
