Court Jusdment by creditor

How to handle a notice of judgement default filed against me for 7k in CA. Outstanding credit bill for over 4 yrs. With statute of limitations does this require an attorney? How can I handle this so my wages don't get garnished?

You will have to get a lawyer to contact the credit card debt holder and set up a payment plan. It's likley that they will start garnishment this week, so do it now.

I agree with roaming, However if they have ALREADY got the judgement against you, If you hire a lawyer you will most likely be just throwing money away that you could just put towards the debt. very hard to get a judgement reversed. take the money you were gonna pay a lawyer and pay the debt, is best thing toprobly do in the situation.
