Diagnos growl in right front wheel area

Question by vabear Reward: 25 Pond Points + 10 Knowledge Tokens Status: Pending a resolution
1996 Dodge Caravan with 3.3 liter V6. I have a low growl in what appears to be the right front wheel area, that occurs at about 35 MPH and stays with me at this level all the time. I have had the transmission rebuilt, front end aligned, new tires and the right front wheel bearing replaced twice (all in the last week). After this the noise is still there, I can hear it louder on roads that camber to the right or on sweeping left turns, and I can stop it by turning the steering wheel sharply to the right while driving. I am guessing a bad CV shaft, but I guess a bad PAS pump might allo be the culprit. Any one have a idea where I am at here?
