Digital camera video problem

Question by AJThompson120 Reward: 200 Pond Points + 10 Knowledge Tokens Status: Answered
I accidentally shot a video sideways with my digital camera, and I've already downloaded it to my documents. Now I'm trying to place the video in a powerpoint presentation, and although it will let me rotate pictures, it won't let me rotate the video at all.

How can I successfully rotate the video?

If you're running windows XP, you should have "Windows Movie Maker" preinstalled. Usually it is located under Start -> Programs -> Windows Movie Maker.

Open the video up in that program and then drop the movie onto the timeline. Click on "Tools" then "Video Effects". Drag one of the rotation effects onto the movie on the timeline. Then save the movie (using a different filename than the original just in case).
