FaceBook flyer ads?

So far I have not had any success promoting a high-performance computer sales business with Facebook flyer ads. Facebook ran my ad for 24 hours and claimed over 10,000 impressions, yet I have not received even one hit from a facebook referral. Our target consumers are college students and young professionals who are willing to pay a premium for high-end computer systems and computer components.

My questions are:
1. What are some advertising methods that have proved successful for your business?
2. Which advertising methods have proved unsuccessful for your business?
3. How much should I expect to pay for advertising using the various methods?

I don't run a business, but comming from a consumer who routinely purchases computer equipment, here is a suggestion.
If you had an automated email system highlighting your deals, or something like that, for which a prospective customer could sign up would possibly increase your sales. I've signed up for a few and I get an email about once a week or so.
It's a customer friendly way to keep you in their mind. And they can't complain about junk email ... because they signed up for it.
