Fuel pump and fuel pump fuse problem

Question by georgey Reward: Log in to view Status: Pending a resolution
I have a nissan altima. The car cranks, but won't start. Turned the ignition,no whirring sound from the gas tank/fuel pump. Fuel pump fuse is ok. Turned on the ignition and checked the fuel pump electrical connector. No battery voltage here. Plugged back the fuel pump electrical connector, turned on the ignition, no battery voltage at the fuel pump relay connector and after removing the fuel pump fuse, checked for battery voltage; no voltage there. I plugged the fuel pump relay, removed fuel pump fuse and still no voltage there. What is the problem and what can I do next?

Thanks a lot for your help. Mike.
