How long does it take for photosynthesis to work?

The first part of photosynthesis include redox reactions that are electrons transfer.This is very fast, a fraction of a second but the enzymatic reactions leading to ATP are relatively slow( minutes). So it will take a few minutes to form ATP, the energy compound and the cells will repeat the cycle as needed. ATP energy is needed for all the functions of the plant and as you surely know that the same energy used by human too.
