How to acheive MySpace Minus the Webcam Girls and Ringtone Guys

How can I get webcam girls and ringtone guys to stop requesting to be added as my friend on myspace.com, but still allow people to see my profile before requesting my friendship?

Myspace has a privacy option available by going to:
Account Settings -> Privacy Settings -> Friend Requests -> Require email or last name

This makes it so that only people who know your email address or last name can request to be your friend. Unfortunately that is about the best myspace offers at this point.

Myspace does try to delete spam accounts whenever they are detected though (usually within a few hours).
