How to find my car?

I took my car for repairing to a person my friend recomended.Within that time frame i lost my job and became homeless.Well i imform the person who was repairing my car of my short comings and no matter what i wanted my car.We never had a written agreement an every chance i got i called to check on my car and when we spoke he assured me that my car was still sitting and hasn't been fix.We spoke again in the month of Nov.2008 and once again he assured the vehicle is still sitting and never said anything about you have a certain amount of days to get your car and I've been charging you this amount a month for storage fee.About a week from todays date i called to let him know I wanted my car,and he imform me that he had the vehicle towed and junk. So I ask who towed it and where are they located and he ask for me to call him back because he didn't have the imformation and he would find it for me.Well I called him back requiring for the imformation and he began to cursed me out and said I owe all this money and he wasn't giving me no imformation where the car is located. I still owe payments to a dealership for this vehicle,so what can I do and how should I go about doing things to get the vehicle back?

You might want to report the car as stolen as they are not telling you where it is. They are responsible for your vehicle.

i wish you were in uk cos i would get that info for you.i hate liars and bullys and sounds like those people who STOLE your car are exactly what we dont need in this world.as dave says theyhave stolen you car abd have no right to dispose of it without your consent OR as a last resort at least informing you by recorded letter of their intentions and allowing you enough time to respond.they have broken the law OH I wish they were in uk.
