You could wash the car if that don't work hair does

I find that a waterd down amount of nail varnish remover removes tree sap with ease however i dont not know how this would work with your car. you could also try frezzeing the sap with ice untill solid then use an ice scrapper to gently remove the sappy areas.

WD-40, or as my Dad says "God in a can" works also, for tree sap.
