If nest or eggs are handled will the mockingbird return?

Question by spquaglieri Reward: 25 Pond Points + 10 Knowledge Tokens Status: Answered
Mockingbird laid 3 blue eggs about a week ago, isn't she suppose to sit on them to keep them warm to hatch them? She left nest and hasn't come back in days...I thought that the eggs needed to be warm all the time. Should I take the nest and try to hatch them myself?, If I touch the nest or eggs, will the birds return?
