Income tax refund greater than taxes paid

I received an income tax refund greater than the income tax I paid? How is this possible?

it could be an error in the federal tax computer, if they catch it and u spent the money they can and will make you repay it, i would call a federal or state income tax office and have them bring up your account and see what if anything was wrong before you spend it, calling them and asking is free, but not free to being told to repay it, wether they sent it in error or not, they will make you repay it, hope this helped you

the computers are accurate, but it was a human that put ur info in the puter so they might have typed a wrong number some where, so i would call a tax help line to make sure
