Is there a small turtle that will stay small ???

i want to get a small turtle that will stay small till it passes away. Is there a turtle suitable for me to buy??

You have a good point here. Like the red-eared slider turtle or the Chinese Striped-neck turtles are tiny as a babies and will grow to up to 12 inches and will need a big accommodation. Some states have laws requiring that a turtle smaller than 4 inches cannot be sold or bought. It is because sometimes they have diseases (like salmonella) and if they reach 4 inches, they are likely to be healthy. So acquiring a small turtle may be a problem.
