Question by tattoogooroo Reward: 25 Pond Points + 10 Knowledge Tokens Status: Pending a resolution
I have a 1997 Kenworth, M11. A driver ran it out of fuel. I have tried all the obviouse solutions: Fuel filter, fuses, sensors, reset computer, even pressurized the tank. But my rig still wont fire. Can anyone come up with a solution I may have overlooked?

Have you bled the air out of the lines from the filter to the injectors?

Well when you run diesel trucks out of fuel its hard to compress all the air once you get fuel back in them. You can try filling all the fuel filters and cracking the fuel injector lines near the injectors and crank for 30 sec. at a time. You should get fuel soon , but dont crank for a long time or you could hurt your starter.
