Mitsubishi evo 6,1999 sinking brake pedal?
I replaced a 1 foot length of metal brake pipe{not personally, but fitted the pipe which was made to stitch in i.e i suspect the female flange made on the existing pipe was not done correctly}.After a full allround bleed the pedal sinks to the floor. If you pump the pedal with the engine runnin its holds pressure, only when applied slowly that it sinks to floor?I would have thought master cylinder with the pistons going past a place in cylinder not used for a long time;damaging the seal when bleeding?Car has only done 33,000 mls so i'm a bit suspect as to the master cylinder at this mileage/1999 on 'T' plate. Also after the bleed/test drive the abs light came on,BUT went out on restart & still does???

Double check around the vehicle for leaks first. If you don't see any brake fluid, then it is possible that the master cylinder is bad since it is a closed loop leak.
