My hamster keeps biting me alot!

Hello there i just got a hamster from petland a few days ago and she will not stop biting me and i was wondering what to do. A couple of people said that there is a cream of some sort that you put on your hands and if the hamster bites it wont like the taste is thats true? please help me

I have had MANY hamsters, some are just biters. Personally I would recommend taking it back to trade it in, it is a hard habit to break.

It was probably because the hanster has not been fed in a long time.Did you ever think about that!!!!!!!!
