My tv is stuck in sleep timer !!! can anyone help?

I have a JVC television. when I push on the power button the only thing that comes on is the (on timer )light flashes continually and has been that way for 30 days. I am sorry IM ON A LOW FIXED INCOME and cannot afford to offer money. But if you can tell me how to fixit i would show appreciation and thanks by referring your service.

Hi,

Do you have the original remote that came with the TV? Try pressing the "sleep" button a few times on it and see if the tv comes out of sleep mode. Please post a clarification with your results.

unplug the TV for a few minutes then plug it back in and turn on, this should reset the tv, also look on back panel for a red reset button.

should be a simple thing like this also try disconecting the cable wires, totaly disconect tv and in afew minutes re install all conections, this should reset the tv.
