What is the nigerian zip code

Nigeria does not have a ZIP code. ZIP codes are American postal codes. Various countries have different forms of postal codes. Nigerian postal codes are 6-digits. Any international mail will have Nigeria, the city, and the appropriate 6-digit postal code for the region.

but recently i learnt that the zip code is 234 although am not sure how true it is.
