PC cannot boot in first time, display flicker/freeze

Hi, my PC (with Windows XP, sp2) cannot boot in first time. It will automatically reboot soon after Windows starts. It'll repeat several times before loads the Windows. The display often flickers and the system often stops response when I click the mouse, either for few seconds or frozen (monitor goes black, No signal), then I need to restart the PC. I've tested the memory but no error found. Do you know what the problems will be?

Might be a problem with a driver. Maybe the video card driver. Try going into safe mode by pressing F8 before your computer starts up windows and it will give you that option to load into safe mode. From there go into device manager and then see if any device drivers have exclamation marks near them or if there are any other indications of driver problems.

If everything looks alright, it could be a problem with your processor or some other timing issue. Is your PC overclocked? Also check the CPU fan to be sure it's functioning.

i can tell you that your problem as nothing to do with windows, it's a problem with the computer itself you should call the computer manufacturer and tell them them the problem and you'll get step by step instructions. i can't you how to do it because it's different with every company and even different brands.
