| I currently own a 1995 Hyundai Accent.. Its packin a 1.5L Sohc tiny engine stock with 92 HP.. That sucked.. So I performed several "do it yourself" modifications, ie. a cold air intake, custom dual performance exhaust from the flexpipe to the rear, racing chip, air horn, 17" chrome rims, 4 giant offroad lamps, 2 fog lights, hood scoop, roof scoop, tons of neons, a 3000 watt stereo system, tv's in the seats, performance spark wires, and iridium spark plugs.. oh yeah and to top it off I created a fully handmade custom widebody kit.. somewhere during the modifications NOTHING WENT WRONG... just to clarify I have returned the car to stock and the problem persists... so its nothing I have done, to my knowledge... while I'm driving occasionally the car putters/ boggs down.. the way I fix it is to stomp the gas, and the car resumes normal driving... I cant figure out why it keeps doing this... and its kinda funny that it only does this while accelerating... sometimes the check engine light will come on and the problem will fix itself... it only occurs while the check engine light is off... doesnt make sense to me.. I believe it may be the timing but Im not an expert yet, however I am getting there... comments would be appreciated... if you can figure it out I would be very greatful... If you want to see some pix I can email you anything you need engine bay photos, exterior, etc... its quite an interesting machine now that I've got my hands on it... Sincerely ZAK... |
