How do I safley remove a dog tick from my dogs tummy

The person is right you heat up the rear of the tick that is sticking out, with a hot needle touch it, then use tweezers and turn the tick counter clockwise as they burrow in like a cork screw make sure U get the whole tick as it will still live if the head is left in. keep it clean with peroxcide and antibiotic poly or neosporin. Things should be great after words, I have done it many times..

try a cigarette and burn the buggers bottom and the jaws will let go then put on tea tree oil mixed with lavender to help heal the hole.
it sounds awful but if you just pull the jaws will be left behind.

here are a couple of sites to read about other remedies to pursue,; these are dog sites that deal strictly with tic on dog issues;;hope these help i would recomend you read these before any action is taken, tea tree oil IS some very good stuff and will help to heal many dog skin issues, i always keep a bottle around, especially for hot spots, but check out these sites below; not to step on leaky's feet but more you know is always better;;

If you are afraid you may hurt your dog with the "burn it off" method which is VERY affective; cover the ticks body completely with a gob of vasoline. Ticks are backwards. lol Since they bury their heads into their host they breathe through their butt. Covering it will cause a suffication affect and they will willingly back out of the host with out causing any added discomfort or aggitation to your pet.
