SQUEEKING NOISE WHILE GOING DOWN THE ROAD, WHEN I APPLY BRAKES THE NOISE STOPS

I HAVE A 2000 CHEVY SILVERADO PICKUP AND JUST HAD MY BRAKES AND ROTORS REPLACED. I HAVE A SQUEEKING NOISE WHEN I AM GOING DOWN THE ROAD, BUT WHEN I PUT ON THE BRAKES IT STOPS.
PLEASE HELP!!

I've worked on cars and trucks for 18yrs. The sound you hear is break dust on your new roters. Try taking off your tires and blow out the dust with an air hose. If that dose not work then try checking the belts. They make close to the same noise. The way to tell witch one it is. Is to start the truck and a slowly raise the moter and if you hear the noise it is the belts. If not it is dust.

Also try applying brakes and gas at same time for a block or 2 to "burn in" new pads and rotors.
