i HAVE A INTEL PENIUM 4 PROCESSOR CAN i SWAP IT OUT FOR A DUO CORE ?

I have a windows OS not a mac . Can I swap out the pentium 4 and install a newer duo core ?

a pentium 4 processor board will not accept a dual core processor.you will need a board specific to deal with the architecture of a dual processor chip.
