Suttle black lines on screen of TV

My husband bought a 32" Sony HD TV in Dec of 07. Almost from the beginning it had suttle black lines through the center. It doesn't make it difficult to see the picture but it is annoying. What could be causing it? Can it be fixed?

Do you see the lines when viewing from all video sources such as cable, dvd, video game consoles or just on one video source? If its just one then it is probably a bad cable connection or bad cable. If it happens regardless of what is feeding the signal it may be the tv. Reply back so that we can help you more.

try adjusting things in tv setup.should cure your problem.
