What does EAC FAil mean

I have a ford fiesta which keeps stopping when I go over 40miles per hour and the interior lights on mileage clock keep flashing saying EAC FAIL now the engine light keeps staying on.

take it to your ford dealer and they will run diagnostics to tell you what is wrong. If the car's still under warranty then this should all be free.
