What is azithromycin used for? What condition is it used to treat.

Azithromycin is an antibiotic that is used to treat bacteria infections like (middle ear infections, tonsillitis, throat infections, laryngitis, bronchitis, pneumonia and sinusitis). It can also be used to treat sexually transmitted infectious diseases like non-gonococcal urethritis and cervicitis.
So of the side effects of these drug consists of diarrhea ,nausea ,abdominal pain and vomiting.
