Unlike a clock that continues to go round and round, over the same numbers a time line never repeats itself.
There is always a loop of consistency throughout time, Earth. The time line is like drawing a line on the surface without influence of gravity making the planet look like a lollipop in outta space, time can literally spear right though the Universe making it look so large it's a mystery if it does ever join up as a circle.

A timeline is a graphical representation of a chronological sequence of events, also referred to as a chronology. It can also mean a schedule of activities, such as a timetable
