Why would high be the only setting that works on my trucks air/ fan knob?

Can anyone tell me why my fan setting knob doesn't work on 1,2,or 3, only high In my 2001 Ford F150 4X4? I Just had it serviced and new brakes 2 days ago. Seems like every time I have work done, in 2 or 3 days something crazy like this happens. Would really appreciate some advice. Thanks...SJT

Sounds like the switch is going out to me, try replacing it first switches are very cheap. Or you could just take it out and clean the contacts, it could have just gotten dirty or rusty.

Sounds like youre blower res. is bad .You can take it out and check the ohms.
