Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome

We have just been told my 15 year old son has Wolff- Parkinson-White Syndrome,we would like to know what we should do if he has an "episode", should we call 000 or do we just let him ride it out,also does he need to be on a special diet,and lastly can he still play sport?

Sorry, those are questions you may want to ask your son's physician. There are different degree of "thachycardia episodes" Sometimes they are very light and short , but others have longer ones that needs ER visits. His physician should know what to expect from his patient. There are optional treatments with hight success rate. Many people with WPW syndrome don't have symptoms or episodes of tachycardia.
