Do insects have feelings?

Some would say that insects do not have emotions. It is due to the fact that emotion is not usually associated with insect per observation. That could be due to the inability of the insect's exoskeleton to move muscles' surface and skin that one can interpret as a smile or other facial emotion.

Emotions are hard to prove. Usually the brain size has much to do with this. Insects are known to live by instincts which is usually procreation. Just like the ants take care of the queen to provide nutrients to sustain her. Think of bees the same way.
Do they have emotions; no. They do not have the developed brain capacity to hold emotions.
