baby cannot absorb food

My friend has a eight month old baby that cannot keep any food or formula down and is losing weight at a scary rate anyone know what to do???? he cannot keep formula down for more than 2 min. without projectile vomiting. help please!!

best thing to do is take him to the doctor!!!

it could be something to do with the stomach!!

please take him to the doctor asap! only he or she can tell you we have no clue

Yes it is an emergency and the baby needs to be tested by a doctor ASAP.

I'm sorry, but why are you asking here? What you should be doing is calling the doctor. that is serious and asking the internet is a bad idea. it could take days before you get the right answer, and then it could be too late. Your friend should be going to the ER.

it could be reflux the baby might need some test or change the formula and there is some stuff u can get to help with reflux from the chemist
