body rash and sore throat

My son has broke out with a rash 5 days ago the following day the rash got worse now his throat is bothering him and his glands are swollen

Many viral diseases start with a rash but a rash may also appear from other causes. The appearance and location of the rash may help to diagnose. Among the most commun in children are chicken pox, fifth disease, roseola, measles,etc... If there is no high fever and your son does not behave sick, time will do . Watch for other signs beside sore throat which by itself is not an emergency unless he has troubles breathing. See a pediatrician if the child get worse. Time, rest and TLC generally are the best remedy for many viral infections.
