bone coming thru gum

I had a back tooth extracted just before christmas 07, it healed properly i believe, now almost 4 months later i can feel like a bone line that is jagedy and coming thru my gum its very irritating, is this something to worry about?

if I was you I would go back to your dentist and have them take a look at that bone that is coming out in your gums.

the reason you feel this is because after an extraction, the bone will start to fuse together and start to heal, sometimes the bone will heal that way, you need to visit your dentist and have him adjust the piece of bone.
