how to remove cv joint from drive shaft on a 1989 izusu trooper

u joint caps should have internal locks;
outside of caps are fairly smoooth with surface, clean and look inside of yoak around u joint caps and you should find a c clip lock around caps, push off C clips and caps should slide out makeing possibal to remove u joint and repair CV joint.

there are more tricks to this but we have to get this far first.
