why do my wipers on my vauxhall corsa stop in middle of window

when they park in middle of window and i tun them on they go up and down ok but just seem to park in middle of window,it happend since i tried to use the when frozen to window,iv checked all fuses and they are fine,if it was the motor i would have thought it wouldnt work at all.

but if i do that when i turn them on they will want to go past bottom of window,they sit in mddle of window when off so when i turn them on they go all the way up then all the way to bottom,they just seem to park in middle.

They may not be set right. try unscrewing them from the motor, turn on then off the wipers. Then reseat the blades. If this doesn't work you may need a new motor.

I think the anonymous poster is correct. Try to unbolt the wipers from the motor and remove them (usually this is done using a wrench). After that, turn on and off the wipers. This will put the motors in a neutral position. Finally, re-install the wipers onto the motor.

Post back after you try this and we can troubleshoot from there.
