car stalls why?

i just bought a 93 dodge caravan and when i drive it it stalls. the gas gauge works fine but what is wrong with it

if your check engine light is on have the codes read. autozone should be able to do this for you. there are many reasons a car can stall. will the car idle at all? if the car does not idle, it sounds like it can be a IAC valve. can you tell me more into detail what the car is doing?
