check engine light

My check engine light is continuosly coming on. This is a 1992 ford taurus. Oil is Ok. Coolant seems to be ok. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

take it to a small muffler place, do a diagnostic check for 60 bucks i bet you its the oxygen sensor, and before u do check and make sure the gas cap is on tight.

Autozone usually reads the check engine light for free. The light could be caused by a thousand different reasons. I wouldn't even bet a dime that it's caused by a bad O2 sensor as the previous poster stated. Have the code read, then post a reply back here so that we can look into it further.
