Does the AMA acknowledge chiropractors as doctors

Yes, However, the AMA does not approve of some of there methods to relieve pain or stiffness. For instance they crack you neck at the end of treatment. It has been know to cause severe spinal damage. Rendering their patient paralysed or with severe nerve and muscle damage. You must set the ground rules on your initial visit. Otherwise they will crack the hell out of you.
