How long after completing a cna course do you have to take the state exam in NC

I took the class in 2007 and need to find a test prep book to refresh my memory, any advice

I mean you have 1 year after the corse . Thought you ment when can you first take it lol sorry

Right after the corse is done that's the way it is in IA. IV been a Cna for 12 years
