computer that you can write cursively on and save document

i am a medical professional who needs to keep written notes of each session with a client recently i wa in a medical facility where the staff used some type of a computer in which they could write cursively on the screen and the note was saved how do get one of these computers and has anyone ever heard of them ?

go to a computer store and they will ask you what you want and what you need it for and then they will advise you of the best system for your requirements.
