what are some contraindications of a facial massage in regards to beauty therapy

Facial massages relax the muscles, increase blood circulation, and remove dead skin on the surface which generally is therapeutic. It may have negative side effects if the person has weak blood vessels which may cause internal bleedings especially for those taking blood thinners, or if there are cuts or open wounds in the skin that may be infected, or allergies to any moisturizer in use. People with sensitive skin may also get very red for hours. Do not wear contacts during facials. More info can be found on
