Question by gadfly11 Reward: 25 Pond Points + 10 Knowledge Tokens Status: Pending a resolution
Hi: After all that when burnig about 2X is all I can muster.I have succesfully flashed both dvd burners so my firmware should be as up to date as possible. Both burners worked flawlessly before the re- formatting. I'm running an encryption program (Any Cd/Dvd) in the background. I wonder if thats got something to do with the 16X burners slowdown. Before when everything worked perfectly I was using Dvd43 for encyption. This time Dvd43 wouldn't work at all so I tried AnyCd. Sure would appreciate any suggestions or solutions. The decks burn extreemly well but just too slow! Thanks

Some troubleshooting tips...

Ensure that:
the cd burning software recognizes the correct recording speed for your drives.

you have the latest drivers.

you have enabled the highest mode of DMA transfer that your drives can handle.

If those dont work, post a clarification with your results...
