electrical fault lincoln towncar limousine air con compressor

i have a lincoln towncar limousine 2001 firstly the interior light was staying on and this flattened the battery.
i renewed the battery and removed the interior light bulb, now when i go to lock the car with the fob i get a beep which i did not before.
at the same time the air conditioning stopped working, i have had it re gased and they tell me no power is getting to the compresser.
so i pressume both faults are connected by a fuse or relay. i have checked all the fuses and are found to be ok my question is does anyone have any ideas where the relay is for the compressor or if any one has had a fault similar. thanks
