can you tell me why when i go on to my facebook none of my friends can see that i am on my chat i can see them but they can't see me i have beeen having this trouble for some time and cannot get it fixed.

'online friends appear offline' my little icon can go off line but it will not say that i am online.. but if i use someone elses computer it works fine ...

Check to make sure that your status is set to online in your chat settings. Open the chat box in lower right hand corner, click on settings, select online. If that doesn't work, you may have to contact facebook. 'Sometimes, when chatting with friends, it will appear that they have signed off of Facebook. Please report this issue here with "Online Friends Appear Offline" in the subject line and a description of your problem in the description field.' Have you or any of your friends tried this?

Sometimes, when chatting with friends, it will appear that they have signed off of Facebook. Please report this issue here with "Online Friends Appear Offline" in the subject line and a description of your problem in the description field.'
