can you plant tomatoes,cucumbers, and peppers beside each other

sure you can, although the cucumbers are a vine, it will spread out, but you can put themm next to each other

the tomatoes will attract greenfly and wont do the peppers and you have to spray for this or plant geraniums they will put off the greenfly from attacking the tomatoes an peppers

peppers on the bottom tomatoes in the middle on canes an your cucumbers on a frame higher up.
